A note from Aisling...

Dear Friends,

I started The Groton Session to carry on a great Irish tradition in my community. Originally from Dublin, I love to go to sessions during my summer visits to Ireland. Getting together with friends to share Irish music, songs, dance, stories and humour keeps me connected to Ireland and Irish culture.

The inspiration, encouragement, advice and support of my family and friends has made the vision of The Groton Session come to life. Thank you to everyone who helps organize and make it a success and to all who come on Wednesdays to play and listen.
